Designer's Bio

I created U ARe! Fashions to get a message out to women that it is OK to invest in yourself.  It’s more than OK, it’s necessary! 

Women play key roles in shaping and molding the lives of others but often lose themselves in the mix. U ARe! is inspiration to discover yourself and celebrate yourself each and every day in some shape, form or FASHION.

I have been competing in figure shows since 2004. My goal back then was simply to get in shape and win. Now, at age 40, I’m still competing but my mission is much more important. I understand I can use this platform as a ministry to demonstrate to women of all ages that you really can do anything you set your mind to. You must dare to dream and pursue it. Too often, we let fear and excuses get in the way of doing what it is we really have a passion for. So take a second…think about your God given gift…that ‘thing’ you are really good at. Are you using that talent on a daily basis for the benefit of others? If the answer is No, then you are likely not realizing your purpose or living up to your fullest potential.

I am a mother and wife, I have a full-time career and my husband and I are business owners…I am very busy and have many responsibilities! Yet, focusing on my craft and taking care of myself are always a priority. This is my life and of course it takes effort to maintain a balance. I definitely will not say “If I can do it, you can do it too!” because everyone is different…but I will say “I do it and I’m the most fulfilled ME that I can be!” ARe U?
